MotionVoter - Secure Online Voting Software

If you’re thinking of having your organization vote online, then security is probably one of your biggest concerns.

At MotionVoter, it’s one of our primary concerns, which is why we’ve made a concerted effort to make our secure online voting software the best possible.

The first line of defense MotionVoter uses is industry-standard SSL security.

Second, each page is password protected, with every voting management page having it.

Your MotionVoter account can be setup to allow multiple voting managers to configure motion and voting details through a variety of management features that can be turned on and off for the specific user on an as needed basis. These management features include voter list changes, motion detail entry, and account settings.

Another line of defense we’ve created to avoid any voter fraud is that each voter casts a vote using a unique voting ballot link, which is emailed to them at the start of the voting process.

When the voter clicks that link, a secure page opens in the web browser. The voting ballot link can only be used once to vote, ensuring no duplicate votes can be cast. If the link is not used within the period of time specified for when voting is set up to take place, the link will expire.

Our online voting system also tracks IP addresses. If you’re a Chamber of Commerce in Kentucky, or a local union in Edmonton, wouldn’t it seem odd that someone voted from Russia? In the unlikely event that happened, you’d know about it.

For your organization’s financial protection we do not store any credit card information on the site. We also do not do recurring billing.
